Our Trip to Michigan May 29 - June 8, 2009 The Drive There

We took Hwy 77 almost all of the way up there is was cool going through the mountains.
The kids went through their first tunnel on the way up there.
Travis and I were tired so we let Jason drive for awhile. :-)

We took Harry with us and he had to sit in the middle of the carseats in the packed car and this is what happened to him. Poor Harry.



We drove up from South Carolina to Michigan. We stayed at a Days Inn in Cambridge, OH on the way up there not really recommend. The kids did very well on the drive there and back. It was really not that bad. We stopped at rest areas and McDonalds that had play places. On the way home we were ready to get home and drove straight through from Detroit to North Augusta we stopped to play and eat but, not to sleep. We were so excited to get home and sleep in our own bed.
