We got out the pool one afternoon and the kids had a blast going down the slide.

Jason my Big Boy!

Jason is finally in his "Big Boy" bed. When we were in Michigan we had the kids sleep in pack n plays. They both could jump out of those things so fast. Well when we came home the first night he was so tired he slept like normal, the second night was fine until the morning. I heard him jump out of his crib he realized it was just as easy as the pack n plays. Here is the next thing he learned in Michigan....... How to open door handles!!! What a joy. So anyway, I met him at his door as he opened it he looked up and saw me standing there and said "Hi Mommy" I said "Hi Jason and let out a big Sigh." I went out that day during nap time and to get door handle covers and Roberta watched the kids. She was in the office and turns around and see Jason and Brianna holding hands outside the door. Jason jumped out of his crib opened the door, went and opened Brianna's door and got her up too. Wow he is so nice looking out for her too! So that afternoon I came home turned his bed around so it is like the picture and put a handle cover over his handle and it has been fine since.

Slip and Slide Party June 12, 2009

One day Caleb, Aidan, and Olivia came over and we set up the Slip and Slide and the kids had a blast. Then after a little while Natalie went home and got another slip and slide and they made a really long slip and slide. Good Times.

Yes! That is my Ice Cream Cake. I always want a ice cream cake I got one this year! YUMMY!!

We had Seafood Alfredo for dinner and Ice Cream Cake. It was a good end to a bad day of sitting in the ER all day with Jason who split his head open in the morning and needed to have it glued shut.

Our Trip to Michigan June 4-7, 2009 The Grove's House

We stayed with our friends Jeff and Kara and their two kids Lauren and Lia for a few days during our trip to Michigan. It was a BLAST! Kara and I got to have some girl time on Thursday night once the kids went to bed and the guys were gone to a bachelor party. Friday we went to Troy and had lunch with the Kostal guys. Then we went to Canton and met Jen at Java Jungle that place is so cool. We came home and had a little BBQ with Rich, Lindsey, Sean, Erica, Quinn, Jeff, Kara, Lauren, and Lia. It turns out it was not just a BBQ it was a SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR ME!!!!! It was AWESOME! Then Saturday went to Chad and Tracy's wedding which was the most fun I have had with out the kids in about a year! I am lame what can I say. I hope to have a few pictures to follow from that fun filled night. Sunday we got up and started the drive back to SC.

Our Trip to Michigan May 29 - June 8, 2009 The Drive There

We took Hwy 77 almost all of the way up there is was cool going through the mountains.

Travis and I were tired so we let Jason drive for awhile. :-)

We took Harry with us and he had to sit in the middle of the carseats in the packed car and this is what happened to him. Poor Harry.



We drove up from South Carolina to Michigan. We stayed at a Days Inn in Cambridge, OH on the way up there not really recommend. The kids did very well on the drive there and back. It was really not that bad. We stopped at rest areas and McDonalds that had play places. On the way home we were ready to get home and drove straight through from Detroit to North Augusta we stopped to play and eat but, not to sleep. We were so excited to get home and sleep in our own bed.

Our Trip to Michigan May 29, 2009- June 4, 2009 Grandma and Grandpa Zettel's House

We stayed at my mom and dad's house for about a week. It was a good visit. I do not have many pictures from that week. It was crazy there and I also miss placed my camera for a few days. Saturday was Rachel's graduation party. That was great to see everyone but, the kids did not not nap for very long again that day so it was ugly. Then Sunday was her graduation (We went and saw Travis' family in the morning before graduation for a BBQ.) We had a party of some sort every day we were there. It was great. The kids liked to play with the blocks, legos, car and kitchen stuff. I brought them toys but, did not need them. We need family to send us pictures so we can put them in our family frames.

Trip to Michigan May 30, 2009- Great Great Grandma Dowell's House

We went down on Saturday Morning with Great Aunt Amy to visit grandma for just a hour or so. The kids were getting in to everything, a little on the grouchy side and grandma was tried so it was a quick visit. It is so nice that they got to go see her for a little bit though.

We had a nice visit at Grandma and Grandpa Lyons' House. We went over there for a few hours on Tuesday morning.
