Sneak Peak!

The kids wanted to wear their costumes today. So here is a sneak peak of the princess and the frog prince!

Cakes

The Husqvarna Crown H, I made it so Travis could take it to work. It was the cake that I made for my final class in Course 1.

So I took a Cake Decorating Course at Joann's I have completed course 1. I had so much fun doing it that I am going to take course 2. I am still not the best but, I enjoy it. I am not really sure why I am not creative. My great grandma, my grandma, my mom, and my brother are all so talented.

Jason, Jason, Jason....

You just have to love Jason's fashion choices. He picked out his outfit today. From his hat to his boots. I always give them two choices for all of their clothes. He had two hats, shirts, shorts, and shoes to choose from and this is what is put together.

Banana Brunch

This morning the kids had some Bananas for their brunch. Note that they are crinkle cut. It is the latest phase. They have to have things crinkle cut.

They are also getting very good at drinking out of big cups. We found small cups that looks just like our big cups and they love them. Gotta love Ikea.

The Ice Cream Truck!

It was shaped like a Dora head!

*Side Note* Brianna got this shirt from her GREAT Aunt Amy. It is her princess shirt she loves to wear it. She loves to be the princess. It says Princess not just a name it is an attitude. It is oh so true for her!!!

Jason and Brianna had their first ice cream from the Ice Cream Truck. I wanted to let them just pick something but, they were so overwhelmed by the whole thing I had to pick something for them. I think that I did ok because they ate it all up and have asked for more.

Blue Eyes...

There is very few times I can get a good picture of Brianna. This is the second one in the last few weeks that you can see her face and she is smiling. I hope she is coming around!!!

My Tomatoes!!!

Here are Jason and Brianna driving around eating their tomatoes.
Yum! Want some?

We thought it would be fun to plant a garden this year. We had tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, green peppers, and red peppers. The other stuff did not grow. Hey I never said I took care of it, I just said I planted it. So we had out first two tomatoes of the year almost ready to eat. Travis and I had it all planned out we were going to have BLTs for dinner one night with our tomatoes. It was going to be great. Nope the kids beat us to them. Yummy apples!!!! That is what they kept calling them. They liked them until they tried the green ones that they also picked.

Sidewalk Chalk

So, I thought I could slip away and work on stuff while the kids were playing. Oh was I wrong! When I came back to check on them I found Jason eating Sidewalk Chalk. He would take a big bite and eat some and spit the rest out all over the porch. I decided to just clean them up and I would clean the porch while they were napping. I cleaned up Jason BUT... While I was cleaning Brianna up Jason pulled the bubbles off the shelf and broke it all over the floor. It was about a half gallon of bubbles. NICE! So, now I had lots of soap to clean up the sidewalk chalk. Oh gosh some times I want to send them back. :-)

Just having lunch.

Just a random day having lunch. They are getting so big! Brianna right handed and Jason left (making his great grandpa proud).

Is it raining yet?

I got Jason and Brianna some rainboots for this fall/winter when it gets muddy. They like to wear them around the house. I also bought them slippers that day and they wear those too. It is almost 100 degrees and they like to wear rain boots and slippers. I must have it to cold in the house.

Pizza!

We made homemade pizza. The kids got a DVD cooking with Elmo. Elmo makes pizza on the DVD so we thought it would be fun. The guest star on cooking with Elmo is Emerald Lagasse. So, as the kids put the toppings on the pizza they yelled "BAM, BAM, BAM".

Our First Day of School! 2K here we come!

Here is Jason at school. He LOVES it! Yes, I know Brianna is not looking at me and she will not be in many of the pictures you see on here. She turns her head or just ignores me. Jason on the other hand every time he see a camera says CHEESE!!!

Here is Brianna at school! You can't tell but, she also LOVES it.
Here we are in the car on our way to school in the morning. Hurry mom we are going to be late! We were but, only 10 minutes. Good thing we are starting now maybe by the time the get to kindergarten we will have the routine down. *** Update*** We made to school at 9am the second week! Yeah!
How I got this picture I don't know!! Luck I guess. It is the BEST picture I have gotten of Brianna in months.
Here is Jason ready to go.
Here they are with their new bookbags that their dad got them.

Here is a picture of their project for today. They made fish and then they hung them around the room. I left the camera with the teacher this morning who was convinced that she could get Brianna to look at her. Nope, same thing she looked down or away every time!

Going for a Ride...

Travis got out he tractor and pulled the kids in the wagon they had the best time.

Playing the Pool June 13, 2009

We got out the pool one afternoon and the kids had a blast going down the slide.

Jason my Big Boy!

Jason is finally in his "Big Boy" bed. When we were in Michigan we had the kids sleep in pack n plays. They both could jump out of those things so fast. Well when we came home the first night he was so tired he slept like normal, the second night was fine until the morning. I heard him jump out of his crib he realized it was just as easy as the pack n plays. Here is the next thing he learned in Michigan....... How to open door handles!!! What a joy. So anyway, I met him at his door as he opened it he looked up and saw me standing there and said "Hi Mommy" I said "Hi Jason and let out a big Sigh." I went out that day during nap time and to get door handle covers and Roberta watched the kids. She was in the office and turns around and see Jason and Brianna holding hands outside the door. Jason jumped out of his crib opened the door, went and opened Brianna's door and got her up too. Wow he is so nice looking out for her too! So that afternoon I came home turned his bed around so it is like the picture and put a handle cover over his handle and it has been fine since.

Slip and Slide Party June 12, 2009

One day Caleb, Aidan, and Olivia came over and we set up the Slip and Slide and the kids had a blast. Then after a little while Natalie went home and got another slip and slide and they made a really long slip and slide. Good Times.
